Overview

LURE™ is a boutique artisanal soap brand that emphasizes the tactile experience of its packaging. The client approached WYLLOLAB™ to create a visual identity that translates the high-end, organic nature of their products into a digital format.

Our mission was to develop photorealistic 3D visualizations that highlight the intricate textures of the sustainable paper packaging and the premium feel of the gold foil stamping, while maintaining a clean, minimalist aesthetic suitable for high-end retail.

The Challenge

The primary technical challenge was the material simulation. Capturing the subtle grain of recycled paper alongside the high-reflectivity of gold foil requires advanced lighting and texture mapping. The goal was to ensure that even in a digital environment, the user could "feel" the quality of the materials.

Furthermore, we needed to create a series of visual assets that worked harmoniously across different Skus—ranging from citrus-infused bars to deep, earthy cedar blends—while maintaining a consistent brand architecture.

What We Did

1. Advanced Material Engineering

We spent significant time perfecting the digital materials:

  • Paper Micro-Texture: Simulated the uneven, tactile surface of 300gsm recycled cardstock.
  • Foil Embossing: Developed custom displacement maps to simulate the physical indentation of traditional letterpress foil stamping.
  • Organic Geometry: Modeled the soap bars with subtle imperfections to reflect their hand-poured, artisanal origin.

2. Lighting & Atmosphere

Instead of standard studio lighting, we opted for a "Lifestyle-Studio" hybrid approach:

  • Used soft, directional light to catch the edges of the foil.
  • Integrated natural wooden surfaces and soft shadows to ground the product in a premium bathroom or boutique environment.

3. Visual Expansion

  • Macro Details: Created close-up shots focusing on the LURE™ logo and the paper's edge.
  • Retail Simulation: Developed renders showing the product in its intended retail context—on wooden counters and stone surfaces.

The resulting imagery provided LURE™ with a definitive visual toolkit for their international launch.
