Overview
ELPRESS™ is an ambitious organic juice brand that required a complete visual overhaul and localization strategy for its expansion into Southern Europe. The project involved creating high-fidelity glass bottle renderings that showcase the product's premium nature, while simultaneously adapting the packaging for the UK, Spanish, and Italian markets.
Our focus was on precision rendering—capturing the subtle condensation on the glass and the vibrant texture of the cold-pressed juices—and regulatory compliance, ensuring all nutritional information and claims were accurately translated and formatted for each territory.
The Challenge
The primary challenge was to maintain the brand's minimal, high-end "boutique" aesthetic across multiple languages without overcrowding the label. Spanish and Italian translations often require more space than English, necessitating a careful redesign of the typographic hierarchy and layout for each SKU.
Additionally, the client required "hero" imagery that could be used across both premium print media and fast-paced social channels, requiring a mix of studio-lit renders and atmospheric lifestyle scenes.
What We Did
1. High-Fidelity Material Simulation
We developed a custom material system for the glass bottles, featuring:
- Dynamic Condensation: Programmatic droplet generation for a "just out of the fridge" feel.
- Liquid Refraction: Accurate light-path simulation to highlight the density and color of various juice blends.
- Copper Foil Accents: High-contrast metallic simulations for the brand logo.
2. Strategic Localization
- UK/ES/IT Adaptation: Full label reconstruction for three markets, maintaining font weights and brand spacing.
- Regulatory Check: Verification of localized claims (e.g., "Cold-Pressed", "Vegan") against local market standards.
- SKU Proliferation: Managed assets for 4 core flavors: Citrus Rose, Orange Zest, Berry Shield, and Beets Power.
3. Visual Storytelling
We created a suite of lifestyle-oriented visualizations to position the brand in premium retail and café environments. This included everything from marble-top brunch scenes to macro shots of the organic ingredients.
