Overview

Sonvault™ required a definitive visual identity for their flagship release, the Auric Audio Capsule. This high-end wireless speaker was designed to sit at the intersection of boutique furniture and cutting-edge audio technology. The objective was to create a visual suite that captured the tactile contrast between the precision-milled copper grille and the acoustically transparent fabric wrap.

WYLLOLAB™ provided advanced industrial design rendering and packaging localization, transforming technical CAD data into a cinematic visual story that resonates with design-conscious consumers in the UK and DACH markets.

The Challenge

The primary technical challenge revolved around material interplay. Fabric and copper reflect light in fundamentally different ways. The fabric must appear soft and light-absorbent, while the copper requires sharp, warm, anisotropic highlights to emphasize its milled quality.

Furthermore, the brand required a "gallery-clean" packaging concept that met strict EU regulatory requirements for the German market without compromising the minimalist aesthetic. This necessitated a strategic approach to bilingual layout design.

What We Did

1. Advanced Material Simulation

We developed a high-fidelity digital twin of the capsule:

  • Copper Anisotropy: Simulated the micro-grooves of the milled metal to ensure realistic light stretching.
  • Woven Fabric Shader: A custom procedurally generated fabric texture that reacts accurately to directional light, showing the physical weave.
  • Internal Glow: Subtle light-path simulation for the inductive charging base and status LEDs.

2. Composition & Lifestyle

To position the Auric Capsule as a premium household object, we created:

  • Atmospheric Renders: Showcasing the product in high-end living environments, highlighting how the materials complement modern interior design.
  • Macro Detail: Focus shots on the physical controls and the SONVAULT™ embossed branding.

3. Packaging & Localization (EN → DE)

  • Minimalist Hierarchy: Moved technical data to a structured, bilingual grid on the side panels, leaving the front face dedicated to photorealistic hero imagery.
  • Compliance Integration: Ensured all German translations and regulatory icons (CE, WEEE, etc.) were perfectly aligned within the brand's typographic grid.
